While You Were Sleeping

Life

ByTheMinLife

Good Morning everybody. There has been plenty of action overnight across the pond so let's have a brief look at what you might have missed.

Daniel Berger hit a second round 64 to take the lead in the St Jude Classic on the PGA Tour. The 23 year old American leads by 3 shots from Tom Hoge with some big names lining up behind them as you can see on the leaderboard.

The Women were also in action with the 2nd round of the PGA Championship. Mirim Lee of South Korea and shot 69 to move in to a tie for the lead with Canada's Brooke Henderson on -2. Scotland's Catriona Matthew is just outside the top 10 but very much in contention on +1 after carding a 67

Thomas Frost covered our featured MLB game between Pittsburgh and St Louis so you can read about that via the home page. Other highlights were Stephen Strasburg winning his 10th game of the season as the starting pitcher for Washington in a 9-6 win over Philadelphia and Edwin Encarnacion hitting a walk-off homer as Toronto beat Baltimore 4-3

Remeber the name!! Jarrion Lawson of Arkansas was the individual superstar of the NCAA Athletics Chmapionships becoming the first man since Jesse Owens to win the 100m, 200m and long jump. However it was the Florida Gators who took the team title for the 3rd time in five years.

Game 4 of the NBA Finals between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Golden State Warriors was covered expertly by Alex Catto for us so if you want to know what happened you are just going to have to read his story!!

And the same goes for the AFL match between Port Adelaide and Western Bulldogs which I can promise was a classic. Read Timmy Boatwright's story on that one via the home page as well.

That's us up to date. Plenty to see today on bytheminute.co including Rugby Internationals and Euro 2016. If you are out and about there is no better place to keep in touch, but if you do miss EVERYTHING, then I'll be wrapping things up again tonight. Until then, enjoy your Saturday!!
