Royal Ascot: Day 4

Horse Racing

ByTheMinRacing

Welcome to Day 4 of Royal Ascot. I hope you've got your top hat & tails on because that's how I'm watching. I've written a personal blog about today's card: https://scfckirbssports.wordpress.com/2016/06/17/royal-ascot-day-4-2 An hour till the first race - the Albany Stakes, but first we'll have the Royal procession.

Two centrepieces on the card today. At 3:40 we have the second running of the Commonwealth Cup where Quiet Reflection heads the market after her Sandy Lane Stakes canter. Then at 4:20 the Coronation Stakes to see if Jet Setting can add another Group 1 to her roll honour. She was sold earlier this week for £1.3M, will she start to repay that hefty fee?

Royal Ascot Non-Runners 15:40 - 1) Buratino & 7) Money Maker 17:35 - 5) Goldmember

The going has been updated following at dry night! Oh and the sun is starting to shine! https://twitter.com/ChampionsSeries/status/743777514208792576

15 minutes until the Albany Stakes. Cuff has won her last two & is the 5/2F for Ryan Moore & Aidan O'Brien. Queen Kindly, a filly by first season sire Frankel, is 13/2. She won on debut at Catterick. Grizzel is two from two & is 7/1. Wesley Ward's Create A Dream won on debut at Ascot & is 8/1. What are you backing?

The 16 runners are parading in the sun at Royal Ascot. This is your favourite Cuff, now into 9/4F

3 mins till post time ahead of the opener & the runners are making their way to the start. Here's the betting:

Cuff looked a bit keen going to post. The money is coming for Create A Dream now into 13/2. It's looking like we'll be behind the clock.

Going behind & starting to load. Time to place those bets. Cuff 5/2F; Create A Dream 6/1, Queen Kindly 7/1, 11/1 bar. What are you fancying here?
