San Marino GP

Moto GP

Afternoon everyone! It's Moto GP time again, this time from Misano for the San Marino GP. @Ugster1 with you for it.

The sun's out in Misano, although given the number of yellow 46 flags in the crowd, it would probably be bathed in yellow anyway.

Rossi the clear crowd favourite, the sighting lap was indeed quite a sight as he was feted by the massed ranks of yellow. It's a 28 lap race, which won't include Moto GP regulars Iannone or Jack Miller - both miss out due to injury.

The championship standings - Marquez still with a very healthy lead: Marquez - 210 points Rossi - 160 Lorenzo - 146 Vinales - 125 Pedrosa- 120 Iannone - 96.

And the gird, with Lorenzo on pole: Lorenzo, Rossi, Vinales Marquez, Pirro, Dovizioso Crutchlow, Pedrosa, Espargaro (A) Espargaro (P), Barbera, Bautista Bradl, Lowes, Petrucci Laverty, (Miller - DNS), Redding Rabat, Hernandez, Fores.

Alex Lowes continues to replace Bradley Smith, and Fores is in for Loris Baz. That's all the info, all we need now is some racing - that should be underway in just a few minutes...

Updated grid tells me that everyone behind Miller has moved up a spot, so Rabat now on the sixth row. Warm up lap already underway. Few different tyre choices around, let's see if that plays a part. Racing moments away!

LIGHTS OUT, WE'RE RACING!

Lorenzo keeps the lead into the first corner, followed by Rossi and Vinales.

27 laps to go: Lorenzo - Rossi - Vinales - Marquez - Dovi. The Yamahas already pulling out a slight lead on the field.
