Good afternoon everyone and welcome to BTM coverage of the next stage in this thrilling Moto GP season - the Grand Prix of Aragon. Eight different winners in the last eight races - @Ugster1 with you to see what happens this week!

Dani Pedrosa won the last race in San Marino, but it's his team mate Marquez that's taken pole position here, more than half a second ahead of the field.

The latest championship standings: Marquez - 223 points Rossi - 180 Lorenzo - 162 Pedrosa - 145 Vinales - 136

Nice to see Nicky Hayden back in Moto GP - he's in for Jack Miller. Alex Lowes, who was sitting in for the injured Bradley Smith, was himself injured yesterday and won't be taking part.

So, the starting grid for today - Marquez on pole: Marquez, Vinales, Lorenzo Dovizioso, Crutchlow, Rossi Pedrosa, Espargaro (A), Petrucci Redding, Espargaro (P), Bradl Barbera, Bautista, Hernandez Laverty, Pirro, Rabat Hayden, Baz, (Lowes)

Lots of crashes so far over the weekend, people possibly caught out by low temperatures yesterday. Interesting to see if that happens today. Anti-clockwise track, and it's not a long run down to the first corner - could be fun!

Marquez and Vinales going with hard tyres front and back - Lorenzo goes hard rear, but medium front.

Confirmation from the track that the temperature is lower today, so that could make things even more interesting than usual. Right, warm up lap underway...

Lights out, we're off!

Vinales takes the lead, Marquez gets it back but then goes wide and Vinales back in front! Lorenzo takes second, Marquez third. 23 lap race.
