The European Tour heads to Turkey this week with only 3 of the Top 10 in Race to Dubai standings turning up. All three are Englishmen, Lee Westwood, Tyrell Hatton and Danny Willett. The event wasn’t on Henrik Stenson's schedule.

Rory McIlroy pulled out last weekend amid safety fears, Tiger Woods pulled out a few weeks ago due to not being ready to compete. Patrick Reed also pulled out this week, not a fan of the Turkish cuisine.

This is the 4th time the event has been played with the previous 3 events at The Montgomerie Maax Royal but now it’s moved to Carya Golf & Spa Resort in Antalya, Turkey. Have a look out for the 16th hole; the tee box is on top of the hotel!!

Now let’s look at some of the players to keep an eye on this week – this has been made very difficult with a totally new venue, so no previous competitions to go on, excuses in early…….

Tyrrell Hatton On the back of a T10 at the final major of the season Hatton has been very much a form player. We covered his win at Alfred Dunhill Links at the beginning of the October, he followed this with T9 at the British Masters and T23 last week in China.

Also he is in the top 10 of Race to Dubai rankings, and a strong performance in the Final Series will ensure Hatton is rewarded for a very solid first European Tour winning season. To win 16/1 Coral

Richard Bland Top 5 prediction for the 43 year old Englishman. In his last 6 events he has had three Top 7 and two Top 20 finishes. A couple of poor final rounds saw him fall away at the British Masters and last week in China. Having a great run and is 25th on Race to Dubai, good performance in Turkey will see him get into the lucrative Top 10. Top 5 finish odds 13/2 with Coral

Bernt Wiesbeger Easy to see why the Austrian is the favourite this week, we've picked him because he is a Titleist player (full bag and a Scotty Cameron Putter). But seriously, his last 5 events have included two 2nd places, a 5th place and a 7th place. On this form hard to ignore, will be in serious contention this week. To Win 12/1 bet 365

Marc Warren Had a shocking season, got DQ at European Open and was outside of the Top 125 R2D rankings to secure his European Tour card. However, gritty final rounds at the Dunhill Links saw him gain a T5 finish and almost certainly secure his card.

Then followed up with solid displays at British and Portugal Masters, currently 66th on R2D with the Top 60 playing the final event, we'd expect Marc to have a good week and get into that Top 60. Top 10 finish odds with betfair are 4/1
