2016 has brought yet more devastating news, as the passing of Johan Cruyff has been announced on his official website.

What a career he had. Three Ballon d'Or awards. 190 goals in 240 games for Ajax. 4 consecutive league titles as Barcelona manager.

Jamie Carragher one of those to share their early condolences. Sure he's thankful he never had to mark Cruyff.
