Hello everyone! @hannakin__ here on semi-final day bringing you Serena Williams vs Kiki Bertens. Another busy day at Roland Garros with all four singles semi-finals taking place. And we've got them all for you live on!

Players are out and knocking up, though it seems like someone's forgot to tell the crowd - Philippe Chatrier is pretty much empty.

World number one and defending champion Serena Williams is bidding for her 27th (TWENTY SEVENTH?!) Grand Slam Final. In a complete contrast this is the unseeded Kiki Bertens' first ever Grand Slam semi-final.

Slightly worringly, Kiki is struggling with what her coach has called a 'very serious' calf injury, and there were some questions over whether she would be able to play. She's decided to give it a go but it remains to be seen how much it will affect her game.

Serena is also suspected to be not quite at full strength, but she is undoubtedly the overwhelming favourite here. Some showers are forecast but the weather seems to be holding for now.

We're about to get underway, Serena to serve. Ready? PLAY.

And a very early surprise here with Kiki Berten already with 3 BREAK POINTS. Serena saves the first with an ace, Bertens returns the second long. 30-40.

That's a very poor start from Serena, she double faults and Bertens has an immediate break.

Bertens' on serve now and already it's clear her injury is going to be damaging her serve, she starts off with a double fault but recovers to go 30-15 up. Both players seems to be moving very slowly, commentators seem to think Serena has an adductor issue. (Yes I have just had to google what that means)

A couple of very gentle rallies result in Kiki getting the hold.
