Hello everyone! @hannakin__ here, the rain has finally stopped at Queens and our man Andy Murray is about to get his grass season underway against Nicolas Mahut.

After a brilliant clay court season Andy's back in the UK going after a record 5th title at Queens. But the guy on the other side of the net is no mug - he's arriving here off the back of winning the 's-Hertogenbosch title just yesterday.

Andy's got a 4-1 record over Mahut, this is their 3rd meeting at Queens with the Frenchman's only victory over Murray coming at this very stage of the tournament back in 2012. There's quality running deep through this draw, we've already had a semi-upset today with no.2 seed Wawrinka falling to Fernando Verdasco.

We're about to get underway, Andy serving, ready? PLAY.

Andy fires down an ace in the opening game to go quickly up 40-0. Mahut gets on the board but Andy holds comfortably to 15.

Mahut serving, he floats a backhand into the net for 15-15, but a good volley gets him to 30-15. He then tucks away an overhead for 40-15.

Mahut holds with a good serve that Andy can only take a wild swing at, we're on serve in the first set 1-1.

Andy's a lucky boy, he replies to a half volley with a backhand down the line which falls in with the help of the net cord. 40-15. Another ace gets him the hold.

An early 'come on' from Andy, shots of Ivan Lendl sat court-side, great to have him back on Team Murray.

Murray does well to return a Mahut serve in but the frenchman hits a forehand winner for 30-0 as Murray is headed the opposite direction. Mahut holds, serving precisely, if not very powerfully.
