Hello everyone! @hannakin__ here bringing you Roger Federer vs Alexander Zverev in the semi-finals of the Halle Open.

Federer is going in search of a record ninth title at Halle, and seems to be regaining his form just under a week out from Wimbledon

On the other side of the net is NextGen star Alexander 'Sascha' Zverev. He's only 19 but is quickly climbing the rankings and was recently touted as a future Grand Slam winner by a certain Rafa Nadal.

The pair have only met once previously - last month at the Rome Masters. Federer won that match but was impressed by his opponent's performance.

We're ready to go, Roger to serve...PLAY.

Zverev just misses the line with a forehand, then an early ace from Roger puts him quickly up 30-0.

Zverev gets on the board as Federer goes long with a forehand...fairly even support in the crowd.

Federer starts off with a comfortable hold to 15.

A big serve bounces off Roger's racquet frame and Zverev is 30-0 up.

Zverev whips a cross-court backhand that Federer can't get back over the net for 40-15. Another long shot from Federer gets Zverev the hold. A pretty comfortable start for both players.
