Smackdown Live

Hey everyone. Jody Jamieson here with the first Smackdown since the Draft. This will be the first time I've watched Smackdown Live (so to speak) in literally years. I'm actually looking forward to it.

I'm the biggest skeptic of the Draft and I think it'll ultimately fail. But last night was the best Raw in forever, so it's at least off to a really good start. Let's see what Smackdown can do to counter it!

Raw last night really was a good show. They shouldn't have hot shot the women's title change, but it got super over and was a lot of fun. And two stars were made in one night. The first being Finn Balor. The second being this man. The jobbiest jobber who ever jobbed.

James Ellsworth. The greatest jobber in forever. I can't tell you the last time I laughed as much as I did at the Braun Strowman squash. It was amazing.

What can Smackdown do to counter last night's show? We'll find out! Show kicks off in half an hour. Pre-show starts in a minute.

The new look Smackdown set isn't exactly popular online. Almost as unpopular as the new logo.

To be honest, I'm just quite happy that they're changing the look. Horribly stale.

Scott Stanford, Lita and Jerry Lawler are on the pre-show. I've no idea if anything useful will happen in the next half hour. Probably not.

This isn't a serious question, surely?

What's worse is American Alpha only has 31% of the vote. Democracy sometimes doesn't work.
