Its Day 12 of London 2012. And it is back to the Olympic Stadium for some more Athletics. The Mens 800M Final is up next. And Nathan Waywell (@nw_1711) is here to cover it!

The Usain Bolt 200M procession is later, but for now our attention turns to the 800M. Here are the athletes in the final: Abubaker Kaki Andrew Osagie Duane Solomon Nick Symmonds Mohammed Aman David Rudisha Nijel Amos Timothy Kitum

One of the favourites is Kenyan David Rudisha, who is the current World Champion in this event. Can he create a magical moment tonight?

Here we go! The athletes take their starting positions. Its time for the Mens 800M Final... AND WE ARE OFF!!!

200M: Rudisha has gone out to the front, where he likes to be. He is closely followed though by Kaki and Aman though, with Amos behind them. Amos is expected to challenge Rudisha for the gold medal today. Don't rule him out just yet though.

400M: And as we hear the infamous bell, the top 4 is exactly the same as it was at 200M. They gaps between them are almost identical, too. Rudisha ran that first 400M in 49.28 seconds.

600M: Rudisha is starting to pull away! He has ran the first 600M in 1:14.30. He is on one! Amos has overtaken Aman and is now into the silver medal position. Kaki has fallen into 4th. Kitum is currently in the bronze medal position.

700M: Rudisha has got this in the bag! Its just him against the clock now. Amos has more or less wrapped up second. However, Aman and Kitum are neck and neck as they battle for the bronze medal.

DAVID RUDISHA IS OLYMPIC CHAMPION! IN WORLD RECORD TIME! HE HAS BROKEN 1:41!!! 1:40.91!

Amos fnished second, with Kitum taking the bronze medal. Aman ended up back in 6th!
