Brazil GP: Qualifying

F1

ByTheMinF1

Afternoon everyone. @GoonerMV here from a rainy London, looking onto a much nicer looking Brazil. 25 minutes until Qualifying gets underway.

How do we see this one playing out? I reckon Lewis will get pole, just ahead of Nico. Really putting my head on the line, I know...

Alonso's car looks a bit of a mess due to the discovery of loose parts. Yep, that's not ideal. Doubts over whether he'll be ready for Q1.

51 minutes of BBC coverage down. Only 9 to do until Qualifying. Hold on, stay strong. We're almost there.

Red Button says 'F1 Multiscreen.' I'm not risking it. Go on, one of you take one for the team. What's it all about. 5 mins to go!

Here we go then, Q1 underway. 18 minutes of fun to follow. Cars nowhere to be seen. Good start.

CARS, CARS!! Oh wait, that's just the car park. Ah. 2 minutes down, laps completed... nil pwa. (16' left)

So then. Anyone got something nice planned for dinner? WE HAVE A CAR! NICO HULKENBERG YOU LEGEND. Well, this is nice. 14 mins left.

Massa out as well now. As are a few others. Who you say? No idea. Err... they're in a pretty quick car? Hulkenberg 1:13.8 first up.

Perez half a second slower than that, Kvyat slots in between the two of them. Massa goes fastest with 1:13.3. Nicely done.
