Swimming: James Guy goes for Gold

Here's the schedule for the next couple of hours:

Well that's the swimming done for the night. Some brilliant finals tonight and some even better ones set up for tomorrow. One last medal ceremony - the Women's 100m Breaststroke. That's all from me for tonight, I've been @hannakin__, thanks for joining me!

A slower race from Hosszu means Brit Siobhan-Marie O'Connor will go into the final tomorrow as the fastest qualifier. A great chance for another GB medal in the pool!

Hosszu well ahead going into the final 50m and finishes comfortably in first, China's Ye Shiwen in second, the American Melanie Margalis in third.

Hosszu pretty slow off the blocks but makes up for it with a strong butterfly leg to turn third. The German Wenk in first but Hosszu pulling away now on the backstroke leg.

All eyes on Katinka Hosszu who broke the Olympic record for this event in the heats earlier today!

Here's the line-up for the second SF and the final race of the evening:

Hannah Miley finishes in 7th, don't think that'll be enough for the final.

Siobhan-Marie O'Connor wins by a body length and sets a new British record in the process! She's followed in by Dirado and Coutts.

The American Dirado comes back strongly on the backstroke leg, it's her and O'Connor going into the halfway turn. O'Connor starts to pull away on the breaststroke leg and she's look really strong down the last 50m.

They're off, O'Connor gets a great start on the butterfly leg, she turns first followed by Aussie Alicia Coutts.
