Rugby 7's: Men's Semi Finals

Hello everybody, it's semi final time at the Men's Rugby 7s, what a tournament it's been and we've got four teams fighting out for the three medals and I'm Rob Sutton

Great Britain v South Africa is the second semi final at 7pm but first up the hot favourites Fiji v the massive underdogs Japan

Before we get going, Ian Ritchie is being interviewed by Inverdale, enthusing about what a brilliant tournament this has been and it's hard to disagree with him

Here we go then, semi final number 1, if Fiji win, a moment of history will be created, they have never won an Olympic medal of any colour and it's the men in white who kick us off...

TRY, Fiji start in style, Ravouvou the man who scores in the corner, conversion missed, 5-0 Fiji

Oh hello, dangerous tackle from Ravouvou and he's off to the sin bin, Japan with a man advantage for the next two minutes. 5-0

TRY, Japan have scored! Goto in the corner, very well worked although there was a suspicion of a forward pass in the build up, Fiji can probably count themselves unlucky, conversion missed, 5-5

Japan kick the ball out on the full, you can't afford mistakes like that against Fiji... 5-5, 1:36 to half time

TRY, wonderful score from Fiji, pace and power out wide, Tuisova with a very impressive front flip to dot the ball over the line, conversion missed, 10-5

Hooter sounds, last play of the half coming up, 10-5
