Athletics: Day Two

After a successful (but empty) first day in the Olympic Stadium, what will day 2, aka Super Saturday, be like? Nathan Waywell (@nw_1711) is here to find out!

And as we start, so does the Women's 400M heats. One of the big names to look out for will be Allyson Felix, who is running in heat 2.

We are underway in heat 1 of 8 in the Womens 400M!

And McPherson takes the win! George second, Ruby third.

Over to the Mens Discus Final, and Kovago throws it 64.50M with his first throw. That puts him in second. Martin Kupper of Estonia now...He throws it 64.47M. That puts him in third.

Jasinki of Germany 65.77M to take the lead! Then after him Malachowski of Poland throws it miles! He goes top of the leaderboard with a distance of 67.32!

And we are about to get underway in heat 2, which includes one of the favourites to win the gold, Allyson Felix of USA.

We are underway!

And as you expect, Felix easily takes the win!

She made it look easy. She jogged the last 50M.
