One can't imagine David Humphreys' mood will have lifted much in the last 167-and-a-bit hours. His side are once again a level below where you feel they ought to be. Can they reverse last week's fortunes and turn this one around for the better?

Or have the Warriors established enough of an edge to see this one home? Ryan Lamb has, as ever, blown hot and cold, but he seems to have found his kicking boots as the half progressed.

All to play for, and even though it's early doors, god, it feels like it really MATTERS already, doesn't it?

Eddie Jones sighting: smiling, on his phone. Interesting.

Back underway at Sixways, with a couple of changes – Rowan for Moriarty has been upgraded to a permanent change, and, worryingly for Worcester, Ben Te'o has also picked up a concussion, and is replaced by Perry Humphreys.

Gloucester have grabbed themselves an early shot at goal here, and Laidlaw's judged the wind perfectly to bring them back in touching distance.

Worcester restart back into that swirling wind. Gloucester regather and clear, but OH BOY what a run from Humphreys! Worcester threatening big-time here!

Knocked on. Shame.

Sale are 9-0 up over Harlequins at the AJ Bell Stadium, by the way. 8:15 kick-off there so they'll be approaching half-time.

Reeeeeeeally poor clearing kick from Tom Marshall puts his side under huge pressure, and they've given away a very kickable penalty. Nervy, panicky stuff from the visitors.
