Rugby U

Good morning and welcome to our coverage of the Rugby Championship - Australia v South Africa is the match this morning. I'm Mel (@ANCook26Fans) and this is the first time I have done a rugby match on By The Minute... so I am slightly nervous. Be gentle with me!

Earlier today, the All Blacks did what comes naturally to them and beat Argentina 57-22. Argentina played very well for the first 50 minutes or so and were only just behind and half time. After that, New Zealand took charge of the match and played some flawless rugby.

Anyway - teams for this match: AUSTRALIA: Scott Sio, Stephen Moore, Sekope Kepu, Kane Douglas, Adam Coleman, Dean Mumm, Michael Hooper, David Pocock, Will Genia, Quade Cooper, Reece Hodge, Bernard Foley, Samu Kerevi, Dane Haylett-Petty, Israel Folau Subs: Tatafu Polota, James Slipper, Allan Alaatoa, Rory Arnold, Sean McMahon, Nick Phipps, Tevita Kuridrani, Drew Mitchell

SOUTH AFRICA: Tendai Mtawarira, Adriaan Strauss, Lourens Adriaanse, Eben Etzebeth, Lodewyk De Jager, Francois Louw, Tebhoho Mohoje, Warren Whiteley, Francois de Klerk, Elton Jantjies, Francois Hougaard, Juan de Jongh, Jeese Kriel, Bryan Habana, Johan Goosen Subs: Mbongeni Mbonami, Steven Kitshoff, Trevor Nyakane, Franco Mostert, Peter-Steph du Toit, Jaco Kriel, Morne Steyn, Liomel Mapoe

Team are coming out at the Suncorp Stadium ready for the national anthems - not the biggest crowd in at the moment.

After the formalities, it is South Africa to kick us off. Nigel Owens is the referee.

Australia take the kick off but it leads to a South African line out on the centre line. A couple of turn overs and then quick feet gets South Africa to close to the try line.

TRY SOUTH AFRICA! Habana's run gets them close to the try line. After some good defensive work, Whiteley crosses the line. Jantjes converts.

Australia look to be getting forward, but South Africa get the penalty. They decide to go for the line out which is nicely taken but Nigel Owens says there was obstruction.

The Australian line out works a little better and they pour forward. However they lose the ball and it is up to Genia to rescue them. South Africa clear their lines but only for another line out.
