Clash of Champions

Alright folks. WWE has brought back a classic old WCW PPV (and dropped the word "the") to bring us the first Raw-specific PPV since the brand split. It's Clash of the Champions! Show begins in 7 minutes. I'm Jody Jamieson. Hopefully a fun night in store. Quick run through the card.

Kevin Owens defends the Universal Title against Seth Rollins, while Roman Reigns challenges Rusev for the US Title. Women's title three-way with Charlotte, Sasha Banks and Bayley. New Day defend against the Club in their best of 1,000,000 series, while Cesaro and Sheamus settle their best of 7 series. Chris Jericho vs Sami Zayn, and a Cruiserweight Title match between TJ Perkins and Brian Kendrick.

I'll be honest. I haven't watched Raw for a few weeks but I am confident every champ will retain, with the exception of (perhaps) the New Day. Jericho beats Zayn and Cesaro beats Sheamus. Nia Jax beat Alicia Fox on the pre-show.

We're live at the Clash. Usual video to open the show.

We're in Indianapolis tonight, and we're opening with the tag team titles on the line.

New Day out for the usual routine. Equipped with the trombone and boxes of BootyO's. They've held the titles for 399 days as it stands. Can they make it 400?

New Day come out and essentially say the Club are no fun so no-one wants them to win. The New Day glory has started to wane a little. They were fun when they just went out and did their own thing. You can tell how scripted they are now.

New Day rocks. You know the deal. Club's music hits.

We go through the parade of foreign announcers. Donald Trump will be furious.

As you'd expect, it's Kofi and Big E for the New Day. Gallows ambushes E on the outside. Anderson hits a Liger bomb for an immediate near fall. Xavier has been laid out as well. Vicious start from the heels.
