NFL Week 4 Preview

Back for more punishment. The less said about week 3 the better as fas as picking winners went, but, it's a new week, new opportunities's London babyyyyyyyy. The first of Wembley's matches takes place this weekend, more of that later. Lets go. Last Week: 7-9 Overall: 27-21

Thursday: Miami (1-2) at Cincinnati (1-2) The Bengals have had a bitch of a schedule so far, and are probably the best 1-2 in the league. Miami can thank Cleveland for their win. The Dolphins hung around just long enough for the Browns to be the Browns. Statistically, the Bengals have an edge in most categories, eyeball wise they should be much better. Pick: Cincinnati

Sunday morning: Indianapolis (1-2) @ Jacksonville (0-3) - Wembley Colts got off the schneid last week with a gutsy win over the Chargers, as Andrew Luck rediscovered TY Hilton. He'll need to do it again this week in his boyhood home town. Colts are putting up big offensive numbers because they have to, the D is soft. Jags have played 2 tight games, turnovers being their downfall Pick: Jaguars

Sunday early: Carolina (1-2) @ Atlanta (2-1) Well, well. Atlanta looking good in the early going. We've been here before. Matt Ryan is sharing the biscuit, 4 guys have 10+ catches. Freeman is averaging 6.3 yds per carry. The offense is rolling (though they have played the Saints). Panthers? Not so much. D? OK, Rush? OK. Cam? weak link so far? Pick: Atlanta

Detroit (1-2) @ Chicago (0-3) The bad news Bears have started this year as they finished last,1 win in last 9 at home underlining that. Brian Hoyer looks likely to continue under centre, but there's no support for him. Matt Stafford has a new safety blanket in Marvin Jones, the shredded the Packers. Sadly for them, Aaron Rodgers took advantage of the Lions too. Pick: Detroit

Buffalo (1-2) @ New England (3-0) Noone is quite sure who will be QB for the Patsies, not even Rex Ryan's reporter alter ego. It won't be Brady who serves the final week of his suspension. Not that it seems to matter. How much of last week was the Bills finally turning up, or the Cardinals having a collective brain fart, who knows. Expect the Bills to revert to the norm. Pick: New England

Seattle (2-1) @ NY Jets (1-2) Russel Wilson looked much better, until he rolled his other knee, and Seattle are looking much more like their old selves. The Jets conspired to only lose 24-3 despite 8, yes 8!!! turnovers v the Chiefs. The Fitz-Tragic/Magic boom bust cycle is now due another upswing. Just, not this week.. Pick: Seattle

Cleveland (0-3) @ Washington (1-2) If the Browns could just get out of their own way, they might pick up a win or two, doubtful they'll do it this week, unless the revolving door at QB can hold on to the ball a little better. Washington used the extra motivation of playing the Giants to find their mojo, now if only they could get the ground game in order. Pick: Washington

Oakland (2-1) @ Baltimore (3-0) After using a free scoring offence for 2 weeks, the Raiders did it with defence against the Titans, holding off a furious comeback attempt. Whisper it quietly, but the Ravens are 3-0 and doing it with defence....who'd-a-thunk? Of course their opponents in those games are a combined 1-8. If the Raiders get ahead early, they'll take this one. Pick: Oakland

Tennessee (1-2) @ Houston (2-1) The first Houston bowl of the year. as the former Oilers return home. Scoring has been their biggest issue, so the absence of JJ Watt is sure to be a boost. Those Lindsay Vonn handjobs must be too good to miss out on. The Texans laid an egg last time out, but divisional games are their key and they should have too much for the Titans. Pick: Houston
