FIFA 17 - Aberdeen Player Career - September

Hey everyone. Jody Jamieson back for Part 2 of the FIFA 17 Aberdeen create-a-player career mode. We finished August off with 5 wins out of 5. Can we continue the run? Let's find out! If you're new to this, you can pick up Part 1 here >>>

Quick reminder of how the league stood after the first month.

Only one bit of business on deadline day, as we spent some money signing Rory Loy from Dundee for £550,000. Yeah I don't know why either.

Our first game on the month is at home to his old club, Dundee. No start for Loy, as we go with pretty much the same team as always.

On our first attack of the game, Jonny Hayes gets poleaxed by the full back and has to go off injured. That won't do. Wes Burns replaces him. Dundee are actually the better side in the first half, but Lewis makes a couple of comfortable saves in a fairly uneventful first half. Scoreless at the break.

Second half has a bit more action. After a run for me has me thinking I'm about to score a goal of the season contender, I scoop it over the bar. Then disaster. I decide it might be a fantastic idea to commit a terrible foul from behind. Ref has no hesitation and gives me a straight red card. Shite.

Chances at either end as I watch the end of the game. James Maddison has a chance but Bain tips it wide. At the other end Tom Hateley gets free but puts it over. First dropped points of the season. FT Aberdeen 0-0 Dundee.

I then remember that I'm suspended for the visit to Parkhead. Eejit. Celtic can jump us with a win.

And as we've seen countless times down the years at that place, a late winner does us in. McGinn gives us an early lead, but it's cancelled out by Scott Sinclair just before half time. Griffiths gives them the lead, but Logan equalises just a minute later. Then with a couple of minutes left Griffiths wins it. FT Celtic 3-2 Aberdeen.

We go down to joint second with our next opponents, Kilmarnock. Can we repeat Saturday's real life heroics and give Killie a pumping at Rugby Park?
