Boston Red Sox

Cleveland Indians

It could be the end of the line for Boston Red Sox tonight. They trail the Cleveland Indians 2-0 going into tonights Game 3 of the ALDS. Toronto await the winners of this series. So will Boston Roll Over and Lay Down?

I'm Stephen Clark, already flagging a little, hoping to take you through this one tonight. Could be a sad farewell to David Ortiz tonight if the Sox lose, but if they win his legend will continue for one more game at least.

Line Ups to follow starting with the Tribe from Ohio

CLEVELAND INDIANS DH - Santana 2B - KIpniss SS - Lindor 1B - Napoli 3B - Ramirez RF - Chisenhall LF - Crisp CF - Naquin C - Perez P - Tomlin

BOSTON RED SOX 2B - Pedroia LF - Holt RF - Betts DH - Ortiz 1B - Ramirez SS - Bogaerts LF - Benintendi C - Leon CF - Bradley Jr P - Bucholz

About ready to go here. Carlos Santana leading off for Cleveland against Clay Bucholz for Boston. First pitch is popped up down the left field line, but Bogaerts misreads it as the wind gusts, and the ball blows back into fair territory and drops for a base hit. Horrible start for Boston

Not much better for Cleveland as Santana barely even walked to first base. Had he run that out he would have been on second. Anyway, Jason Kipnis next up for Cleveland. Struck out swinging on a 2-2 change up.

Francisco Lindor next up for Cleveland. Line drive base hit to centre field and already Cleveland hace something cooking in the top of the 1st CLE 0 BOS 0 T1 1 Out

Former Red Sox man Mike Napoli bats in the cleanup spot for Cleveland. Belts his first pitch into the top tier of the stands, but foul down the left field line. Fly ball into right field but straight to Mookie Betts. Runners hold at 1st and 2nd

Jose Ramirez is the fifth hitter for Cleveland. Bucholz falls behind 3-0 in the count and then Ramirez hits a ground ball to Pedroia and the innings is over. Good work from the Sox to get over that horrible start CLEVELAND 0 BOSTON 0 Mid 1
