It's finally happened!! Ed Sheeran has brought out NEW MUSIC! it is just two songs for the moment but I'm already looking forward to the album! I'm @TimBonvilleGinn all set to tell you about these BRAND NEW SONGS

The first one, Castle on the Hill, it's a nice song about relationship with a lass but also with friends! The first line is "When I was 6 year's old I broke my leg, I was running from my brother and his friends" odd line, but musically I think works

"Tasted her sweet perfume on the mountain grass I rolled down" .... Different... This song has a very fast beat to it by the way, with an electric guitar rather than his classic acoustic!

It's all about breaking hearts, losing friends, making new ones... This is back where he lived when he was younger obviously

It's definitely a classic Ed chorus! Opens up his vocals a bit more! Lots of power in this song! "I'm on my way, driving those old country lanes, singing to Tiny Dancer and I miss the way you make me feel... It's real when we watch the sunset Over the Castle on the Hill" not sure I got that chrus right but yeah, that's the main basis of it

The next verse starts with "15 years old and smoking handrolled cigarettes" either he did (tut tut) or it just works musically

"running from the law in the back fields and getting drunk with my friends" I have a feeling he did do this... God sake Ed

I like the line "me and my friends haven't thrown up in so long, oh how we've grown" interesting....

It's now just a repeat of Over the Castle on the Hill with some ooh's then goes into going on about his friends and how they're all coping well or really bad and then back into the chrous to finish! Nice song!

Now onto Shape of You, far more of a sexually suggestive song! With more electric music! Slight change from the norm here Ed!
