Afternoon! Joe Love here for the first premier league match of the Donald Trump presidency. That's not what there billing this as? Oh. They should be. Anyway, Liverpool host struggling (the kind way of saying rubbish) Swansea and are surely going to give them a kicking.

The Liverpool side includes a first premier league start since injury for Phillipe Coutinho. They line up like so; Mignolet, Clyne, Lovren, Klavan, Milner, Henderson, Wijnaldum, Can, Lallana, Coutinho, Firmino

Swansea line up with two debutants in Martin Olsson and Tom Carroll. The XI is; Fabianski, Olsson, Mawson, Fernandez, Naughton, Cork, Carroll, Fer, Sigurdsson, Routledge, Llorente.

Out come the teams at Anfield, they shake hands and You'll Never Walk Alone rings around Anfield, before it will fall all but silent for the next 90 minutes or so.

1' Liverpool get the game underway!

2' It's a lovely traditional sight at Anfield. Liverpool defending the Kop in the first half as they like to do, in all red against Swansea in all white.

7' Swansea have made about three passes so far. Liverpool in total control of the ball, albeit getting nowhere with it.

9' First Liverpool chance. Henderson whips in a cracking ball and Can in the middle of the goal directs his header over the bar when he should have hit the target.

14' Fernandez does well to get in the way of Lallana to stop him converting from a lovely Firmino cross.

16' Lallana wildly overhits a cross which spoils are brilliant Liverpool move with Coutinho heavily involved.
