Notts Premier Wk2: Hucknall v Caythorpe

Stories

ByTheMinute Create A Story

Good almost afternoon, Caythorpe looking to bounce back from last weekends opening defeat, have travelled to the New Gatehouse Groound to take on Hucknall.

The hosts had big win last week, and got the better of this fixture last year as Jake Libby gave virtuoso performance with bat, ball and in the field.

Just the one change for Caythorpe from last week. No Jim Hemmings, Oliver Clarke coming in.

Toss duties have been performed. Stash calling correctly and once again, choosing to bat.

Not a good start. Frist ball of the innings....Dods to Dobson......snick.....snaffled by Harris behind the stumps. 0/1

Dal off the mark with a single, Oldham then adds the first boundary of the day. It's 6/1 after 1. Joshua Buckley to open up the hill

Just 2 in wides from Buckley's first over.

Bit of a let off for Oldham.....outside edge, just dropping at the feet of the slip fielder....probably should have got hands to it....salt in the wound as it goes for 4. 12/1 off 3.

Buckley continues to deal dots, with the a wide thrown in.

Dal snaffling dots like Pacman at the moment. 4 leg byes the saving grace of that over
