ByTheMin Fat Club Week 4



Hope you all enjoyed the Bank Holiday weekend! What a weekend it was too eh? The boxing, North London derby (i'll out myself as a Spurs fan now!). I went to watch Guardians of the Galaxy 2 as well. That's very good but not as good as the first.

The weekend started brilliantly. On the scales Saturday morning as usual, I was once again pleasantly surprised. 1.4KG down over the preceding week! That means a total loss of 5.6KG or 12.3 pounds. A small loss this week will take me past the first stone!

I actually didn't have a brilliant week in terms of exercise. Bar the Saturday and Sunday after I weighed myself I barely hit goal at all last week. Just about scraped it on Friday due to forcing myself out in the evening. The week was a disaster at work, early starts and overtime nearly every day. I did however stick to the eating plan and that seems to have done the trick!

One thing I mentioned a couple weeks ago was I did not think I would be able to go much faster on my walks.. I was wrong on that :) Here for comparison April 21st

If I go any faster now I will be jogging. On that note.. I am planning to start integrating a little bit of Jogging on Friday. From the route I take KM 2 to KM 3.5 ish is all downhill. My heart rate has started dipping out of the fat burning zone when I on that bit. This is where the fitness tracker really comes into it's own.

I will follow the advice of the NHS Couch to 5K program and mix it up, 1 minute jogging, 1.5 minutes fast walking to start with. Theoretically that is the first week but we will see how it goes. Once again here is the link for that program.

I think that is enough for this week. I am 33% to my first weight loss goal in only 4 weeks so I am pretty happy with how it is going. Let's see what the mood is like next week!
