Rugby U

Here's the teams for today: Thanks to @charleswrites for the graphics

Morning. After a scratchy win over the Provincial Barbarians and an even scratchier loss to the Blues, the Lions are stepping up a grade in opposition this morning.

They take on the Crusaders in Christchurch, holders of a played 14, won 14 record in Super Rugby. Of course it's a fine line to tread between doing the business and showing too much of your hand to the All Blacks. But, do Gatland and Howley have a hand between them?

Four of those Crusaders have won the World Cup, it's a powerful line up

There's a feeling that this Lions line up is close to the XV that would take to the field in the first test. Lovely long walk from the changing rooms to the pitch, routing past the portaloos.....lovely.

Oh. Look. A haka. About as overused as a piper on Princes Street. Get on with it

Bored now. Lions should just yawn, and check their "watches". Mako Vunipola appeared to be checking for a brain via his ear in fairness

Marius Jonker the man in the middle HT edit: Except he's not, he's the TMO. Mathieu Reynal is the ref....I'm blaming the Sky screen graphics guy for that.

Owen Farrell gets us going, ball bobbling around at the 22. Lions secure, shift it right, Davies breaks the line but can't find North. Interception prevents the score....
