Tour de France 2017: Stage 11

Cycling

ByTheMinCycle

Hello and welcome everyone to our BTM Coverage of stage 11 of the Tour de France. Eymet to Pau.

76km to go, 3 in the breakaway. Gap of 2:30. Those 3 in the breakaway are Bodnar, Backaert and Marcato.

In the feed zone a crash happened! This involved Fuglsang, Cataldo, Degenkolb and Quemeneur. All riders are back in the pack apart from Cataldo who is in an ambulance off to hospital, it looks like a broken wrist, he is out of this year's TDF.

10km to an Intermediate Sprint. Just after that is a category 4 climb, giving one lucky rider in the breakaway one point.

This is our last sprint stage of the TDF until Paris. So this will be one of the last stages that the Green Jersey can be fought for. But with Kittel's lead... as long as Kittel survives the Mountains he should win.

So who will win the Intermediate Sprint? Kittel? Matthews? Greipel?

Well, I mean the Peloton's Intermediate Sprint.. so really, who will get 4th in the Intermediate Sprint?

I don't think I've mentioned yet actually that I'm Ewan and I'm bringing you coverage of today's TDF Stage.

Fuglsang has called the Medical Car to look at his left wrist.

The Breakaway cross the Intermediate Sprint line. 2 minutes until the Peloton come!
