Hello folks and welcome to coverage of stage 15 of Le Tour, Im Chris Rolfe and its great to be back covering some cycling

Let's start with today's stage profile

And the map of today's stage incase anyone is interested

Now to the race, we have 5km to go until the intermediate sprint, 98.5km to the finish, Michael Matthews is in the mammoth 28 man break so he'll inevitably take the full 20 points and with Marcel Kittel in the peloton he will gain some ground in the green jersey contest

Under 1km to go until the sprint, Geschke is on the front with Matthews on his wheel ready to go

Matthews checking over his shoulder, De Gendt and Bakelants have a little dig but he eases to 20 points and is now 79 points behind Kittel in the green jersey contest

Heres the guys in the break: Bakelants (AG2R), Mollema (Trek), Caruso, De Marchi, Moinard, Roche (BMC), Durasek, Ulissi (UAE), Pinot (FDJ), Pauwels (DD), T.Martin, Kiserlovski, Lammertink (Kat), Benoot, De Gendt, Gallopin (Lotto-Soudal), Matthews, Barguil, Geschke (Sunweb), Mate, Navarro (Cof), Roglic (Lotto-NL), Calmejane, Sicard (Direct Energie), van Baarle (Cannondale), Grmay (Bahrain)

and the final two guys are Hardy and Perichon of Fortuneo-Oscaro

The gap between them and the peloton is 5:52 with 92km remaining in the stage, a Cat 1 and Cat 4 climb to come before we finish todays stage, we may see some digs from the GC guys but its unlikely we'll have any considerable time gaps but after Aru's disaster yesterday anything could happen

The two climbs remaining are the cat 1 Col de Peyra Taillade which is 8.3km at an average gradient of 7.4% and then the cat 4 Cote de Saint-Vidal, 1.9km at 6.8%, the Saint-Vidal cresting 13km before the finish line
