Good morning! Welcome to coverage of the day 4 of the England v South Africa Test Match at Trent Bridge. I'm Mel (@ANCook26Fans) here for at least the first session and maybe more. So England have two days to try and chase a record score of 474 after South Africa piled on the misery yesterday. However the sun is out and it looks hot so batting should be easier.

That being said, the South Africa bowlers have been bowling well all Test and last night had both Cook and Jennings in some difficulty. Let's hope England can get stuck in today.

Alastair Cook and Keaton Jennings are out in the middle to face the bowling of Morne Morkel.

ENG 2/0 (5), Cook 0*, Jennings 1* Jennings is off the mark with a single.

WICKET! ENG 4/1 (5.5) Vernon Philander takes the second over and Jennings gets bat on ball again. They then change the field and Jennings leaves a ball. You leave, I hit says Philander and he is is gone.

ENG 4/1 (6) Gary Ballance is the new man in.

ENG 8/1 (7) Cook gets off the mark with two. He adds another two the final ball of the over.

ENG 12/1 (8) Trying to do two things at once but Ballance is off the mark as well and now has four runs to his name.

ENG 13/1 (9) Right. Fully focused now. Morkel continues and Cook gets a ball away for a single. Ballance manages to get a ball down.

ENG 16/1 (9), Cook 8*, Ballance 4* Good shot away from Cook to get three runs. Ballance is getting tucked up but manages to block.
