GUY GETS HAAS! Wins it with a time of 1.45.18, a good swim from both of the top two, not James' fastest swim but he has been in form and finished well

Kozma with a good swim in third for the hosts, well within a second of Guy. Second semi to come

Duncan Scott goes in this one. Yang Sun is a huge threat here

Away we go!

Sun with an average start, Scott going well and third after 50m, taking it so well. Ehara leading though..

Scott goes into the lead and is 0.5 ahead at the final turn. Can he maintain this? Yes! 1.45.16. He went hard and he qualifies quickest. That's a big surprise.

Sun finished 0.08 back

Here's your finalists then with two Brits Scott Guy Sun Haas Krasnykh Dovgalyuk Kozma Park

Our last race of the evening then - Womens 200 IM final. Siobhan Marie O'Connor goes in 6 for GB, a medal would be a bonus

Hosszu of Hungary being backed...here we go!
