Swimming World Championships 2017

Hello, and welcome to further coverage of the World Swimming Championships from Budapest. We've 11 live races for you this evening, five of which are finals

GB could kick-start the evening in the best fashion, with two men going in the 200 freestyle final. They qualified first and second in the semi finals

Olympic champ Yang Sun and Townley Haas go in this too, with home representation in Kozma

Here we go then...we're set to go. And we're away!

Guy starts well, Kozma does as well and leads from Guy and Haas at the 50m turn. Guy now ahead of Haas and Kozma at the 100...

Sun swims a huge third 50. Made his move and the Brits are out of the medals for now. Still tight but Sun asseeting his quality as we finish... Gold for China! 1.44.39 Haas came second for the US, Krasnykh of Russia third

Scott 4th and Guy 5th for GB. Ouch. Sun breaks protocol, as he does every time, by going past the ref and celebrating with his team and coach.

The womens 1500m freestyle final will be coming up next. Just the 30 lengths of the pool...

The BBC have joined this nearly four minutes in. It's actually pathetic

Anyway, Katie Ledecky is absolutely smoking the rest of the field. Will she take on the World Record? The medal places are tighter though
