Athletics World Championship 2017: Bolt's Final Race

Going into the last 100M Farah was fourth, but battled hard, but the gold was a step too far today. Edris and co were too far ahead with about 300M to go.

Final standings:

This isn't the end for Mo though. He now turns his attention to the longer distances, the marathons etc. He will have many more wins to come im sure of that.

Farah now taking a well deserved lap of honour, high fiving fans, taking selfies with fans, signing autographs etc.

Some adults are pushing in front of kids, desperate to get selfie or desperate to have 3 things signed. Come on now, you're ruining those kids nights. Some people are almost pulling him. They are some sad people...

In terms of the high jump, Lake also failed 1.97 and finished 6th I think. And Lasitskene made 2.01. Levchenko then tried to get 2.01 too, and was successful in doing so. Lasitskene eventually made 2.03 and confirmed the gold medal we all expected from her. And for the first time in these World Championships, a neutral athlete takes gold. What national anthem will be sang?

Final standings:

The first men's Decathlon race is underway!

Kevin Mayer on the verge of the gold...
