Good morning you gorgeous lot. Put the kettle on, sit back in a comfy chair, it's Finals Day at Edgbaston! Me, Thomas Frost, will be covering the semi finals and Mel will be doing the Final itself. The first semi final is Glamorgan v Birmingham Bears. Toss and team news to come soon.

Glamorgan win the toss and will bowl first. Jacques Rudolph vague on the reasons why but says he backs his side to chase. Grant Elliott, the Birmingham captain, says he would have bowled too.

Birmingham team: Pollock, Sibley, Hose, Hain, Elliott, de Grandhomme, Ambrose, Woakes, Thomason, Patel, Stone. Glamorgan team: Donald, Rudolph, Ingram, Miller, Carlson, Cooke, Wagg, Meschede, Salter, de Lange, Hogan

The sun is up, the sky is blue. Looks glorious in the Midlands! Pitch looks a belter. Can't wait to see the likes of Pollock, Elliott, Donald, Ingram and Miller on this track. Who do we fancy for this semi final then?

Hoping Glamorgan but it is a home match for the Bears which might come in to it.

Glamorgan worry me. Seem a bit boom or bust. Reliant on the top order. When they come off with the likes of Donald, Ingram and Miller it can be explosive. Birmingham have that big game experience and look the more impressive outfit in my book but T20 is a hard format to predict. All about who turns up on the day!

Here's the schedule for today:

I, as a Yorkshire fan, will of course be impartial. I like both Glamorgan and Birmingham. I'd be happy for Jacques Rudolph if Glamorgan do well as he was a big hero for me from when he was at Yorkshire but Birmingham are always great to watch.

Colin Ingram has hit 107 sixes in the last 2 years in English domestic white ball cricket. 43 more than the next best.

Players on to the field. We're almost underway in the 15th T20 Finals Day.

Colin Ingram with his part time leg spin to open the bowling to Ed Pollock.

First ball is driven to mid off. No run.
