Evening All - Three times Holland have been runners up in the World Cup. Tonight they need a miracle to be runners-up in their qualification group. All that is required is an 7-0 win over Sweden to clinch a spot in the play-offs. I'm Stephen Clark - Welcome to Missie Onmogelijk

Yes - that was Mission Impossible in Dutch ad coming up are the names of the men who have chosen to accept that mission.

That Dutch line up certainly doesn't inspire a lot of confidence. It's a long long way from Cruyff, Neeskens, Rep and Rensenbrink. It will be the 2nd major tournament in a row that will see Holland absent. And it's difficult to see them making a comeback with the quality of player available to them.

Sweden did all the damage at the weekend, blowing Luxembourg away in an 8-0 win, making what could have been a tense encounter tonight into, what should be, a formality. Kick off is in about 15 minutes.

Sweden can actually qualify outright with a win in this one, if France falter against Belarus. And you can follow both games live, as well as the crunch match between Portugal and Switzerland AT THE SAME TIME AND ON ONE SCREEN I TELL YOU, here!! https://www.bytheminute.co/live

The team at the Amsterdam ArenA obviously didn't get the memo. LIght show and fireworks just before the teams come out, to a half empty stadium. Anthems and the Swedes are up first.

Dutch anthem sung with great gusto by the sparse crowd. If Holland do manage to pull this off tonight, there will probably be about 100,000 people claiming to have been there. In reality there is about 20,000.

Half and Half scarves seem to have crossed the North Sea, plenty in abundance for this one. A moments silence for the Mayor of Amsterdam before kick off. And we are underway.

Matthew Upson alongside Sam Matterface in the commentary box. Staking a claim for inclusion in ITV's World Cup squad and the chance to cover South Korea v Iceland...Probably.
