Good morning all! Looking forward to some tennis? I certainly am...

Today we have the final round of group matches in the WTA tour finals, the big season finale. First up? Caroline Wozniacki vs Caroline Garcia. The battle of the Carolines.

Former no.1 Wozniacki has been in superb form so far in Singapore, having somehow only lost four games in two matches. Remember that this is the tournament where you don't even get to play unless you're a top eight player...

Garcia has gone 1-1 so far, losing to world number one Simona Halep but beating Elina Pliskova.

Here come the players! Nice to see that the WTA finals are just as OTT as the ATP version, as "The battle for greatness is here" flashes up around the stadium.

Wozniacki is all but already qualified for the semi finals. Garcia is still in with a chance too, but her fate will also depend on the result of Halep and Svitolina's match later on. Although it would, of course, help if she could win this. Or at least not get hammered like Wozniacki's previous opponents/victims.

Players warming up now. Wozniacki leads the head-to-head 2-0, but the two haven't played since 2015, so not sure how much we should read into that. Little wave to the camera from the umpire there. On top of her absurdly massive chair. I've always thought it looks a little odd.

Let's get going then. Wozniacki to serve first.

Garcia into the net on the first point with a forced error. A shanked return and it's 30-0, a return into the net for 40-0, and then a third missed return gives Wozniacki an easy game.

Unspectacular start, that.
