Good evening everyone. World Cup places up for grabs tonight. Italy and Sweden come together in Milan, but only one can make it to Russia. In the immortal words of the Spice Girls, tonight is the night when two becomes one. I'm Alistair Sargent and I'll be your eyes and ears throughout this game.

Sweden take a 1-0 aggregate lead to Milan. Italy must score tonight. 90 minutes (and maybe 30 more and penalties) all that stand between these two and the World Cup finals in Russia. Kick-off in the San Siro in 10 minutes

Italy without the suspended Marco Veratti tonight, it looks a very functional midfield in his absence. Perhaps the surprise from the team news is that Andrea Belotti starts on the bench for Italy. Southampton's Manolo Gabbiadini preferred up top.

Anthems taking place. Does anyone sing an anthem more passionately than the Italians? Marvellous.

Italy in blue, Sweden in yellow. Smashing atmosphere in the San Siro. Away we go

2| It's a frantic start. Lots of energy but not a lot of quality. Ball being lobbed backwards and forwards and chased around the pitch like it was Hackney Marshes early on a Sunday morning.

4| Seb Larsson is given a ticking off by the man in the middle for wrestling back Gabbiadini as Italy tried to break. My sincere apologies to Michael Jackson for not starting with the man in the middle who is Senor Antonio Miguel Matheu Lahoz. For all you fans of refereeing, and sloppy song references.

9| And Senor Lahoz is in the middle of all the action here. First of all he tells Parolo to get up as he has an ambitious tumble in the box. And then he books Chiellini for a foul on the half way line as Sweden broke forward.

10| And a second yellow card of the evening. There is no mucking about here from Senor Lahoz, stamping his authority early. Johansson this time for a needless foul well inside the Italy half. 0-0 (0-1)
