UFC 218: Max Holloway vs Jose Aldo



What’s going on everyone? Jody Jamieson here after last night’s entertaining TUF Finale to bring you UFC 218, live from the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan.

Anyway. Justin Willis vs. Allen Crowder to open the card. Crowder calls himself "Pretty Boy." That's very much up for discussion. He is making his UFC debut tonight after a successful showing on Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series. Willis beat James Mulheron at UFC Glasgow in July to run his winning streak to five.

Willis out with a song that when I was trying to figure out what it was morphed into Till I Collapse by Eminem. Decent.

Willis vs. Crowder. Willis opens as a -275 favourite. Dan Miragliotta is the ref. And UFC 218 is underway!

Willis comes forward with a combo. Catches a kick and lands a left. Catches another kick. Crowder smiles as Willis starts throwing, but doesn't land anything big. Crowder flashes a combo that misses, but lands a front kick to the body.

Willis grabs a Muay Thai clinch and get a couple of good knees off.

Willis tags him with a hard left hand. Crowder's defense doesn't look up to much at the moment.
