Abu Dhabi Championship: Round 2

Good morning from sunny Abu Dhabi, well Birmingham, UK. You join us for coverage of the second round of the Abu Dhabi Championship. Hold on to your hats.

The marquee group out this morning are now playing hole 4 - Fleetwood, McIlroy and Johnson. Yesterday young Tommy showed them how to go by carding a terrific 7 under, but he's already 5 shots off the lead. Going to be lots of low scoring out there if it stays like this.

Chris Paisley also doing well after his win last week in South Africa.

OK, here's some golf. Par 4th, Fleetwood with a 20 footer - close, but no cigar. Shaves the right off the hole. Fritelli on 9 rolls one in, continuing his good form and is now -8. That;s his round over.

DJ on 4, also just slides past on the low side. Finally Rory to see if he can get something going. About 8 feet. In the middle ! Moves to -4. Over on 5 it's the in form Justin Rose who's played for a fade and got a wee hook going. Miles away. Chance to see the kid who whacked a red ball closer to the pin than Fleetwood and Johnson yesterday lol

Commercials for loans at eye waveringly high rates. 93% for 5k to 15k. If that's not exploitation of the disadvantaged then I don't know what is - if you have enough credit rating you can get the same from John Lewis for 2.9% according to the email that's just landed in my inbox. OK, we're back. Rory on the 5th with the big dog. Through all the flies and insects we can see him hit it miles down there, but into a bunker. Probably only 100yds to go though. DJ takes his hand off as he follows through. Never a good sign and he's also lost it right, definitely a mis hit as it ends up short of the sand Tommy lashes one right down the middle. GO SHOW THEM.

Up ahead Stenson, who's not had a lot of success here, just misses and that par means he stays at -4. Needs a few more birdies to get moving up that leaderboard. Interview with Branden Grace who shot -8 today after level par yesterday. That's the amateur life right there, except it's about 20 shots lower, consistency wise he's one of us.

5th fairway - Fleetwood's approach from 174. Holds it off nicely and pin high, 10ft at most. DJ from the rightt hand side, gets it inside Tommy's ball ! About 4ft. Great shot. Finally, Rory from the RH sand - short and right. In the rough, so up and down for par. Roe reckons it's simple, guess so for these guys.

On 6 it's new European guest tour member or whatever Matt Kuchar who is +1 and that's not going to help as his approach is miles from the flag. But Justin Rose in an ideal position - 309 from tee and 155 to go. GAP WEDGE. LOL. 7 iron you mean. Right club probably, bit long and way left. Very poor shot in fact.
