Hello, hello, hello. It's a Super League debut for 2018 for myself, @MikeMeehallWood and a doozy of a game to start with. Leeds, looking to break the Super League attendance record, face off with newly promoted Hull KR. I'll be with you in 10.

Elland Road is looking well, Leeds are looking relatively pumped. They started well last week and will be confident. Rovers...less so. But they have the magic man in Danny McGuire, star of last year's Grand Final and Leeds all-time great, who will face his boyhood heroes for the first time tonight. Narrative.

The big news for Leeds is that Joel Moon is out injured and thus Liam Sutcliffe moves to 6. Jimmy Keinhorst comes into the centres, Stevie Ward onto the bench. Rovers look weak but have Mose Masoe on the bench, which should be fun. I was chatting with his wife's best mate recently in The Cricketers, a pub near the Sydney Cricket Ground. Small world. I think.

The teams are out, the crowd are in fine voice.

We're going to have a minute's silence in honour of John Atkinson, the Leeds legend. His young grandson is taking the match ball out onto the field wearing a nifty Stone Island jacket. When you're delivering the match ball at 7-45 but have Millwall away at 3.

Ah, a minute's applause. Well observed, either way. Anyway, Robert Hicks has the ball and will hand it over to a Rovers man, who in turn will kick us off.

0' Ryan Shaw gets us going!

0' And Adam Cuthbertson drops it on the first tackle! Big chance for Rovers to start...

1' Rovers drop it back.

1' Superb defence from Rovers! They kick and Walker fields, only to be taken a full 15m by a gang of Robins, back into his in-goal!
