What a finish!

Wales looking to spread it wide were just a little too ambitious, and Stockdale picked it off to score under the posts. Can't blame Wales there, they had to go for it. Try CONVERTED, and that's full time.

What a match that was!

Ireland deserve their win in a match that went right to the wire. Wales had Schmidt's perfect home record under serious threat at the end, but couldn't quite make it.

The key to Ireland's win? Their outstanding ability to hold on to the ball for the first hour. Wales looked like scoring when they kept the ball, but just never really had it for the first hour. After that, the deficit was too much to make up. Leaving without even a losing bonus point seems harsh, though.

That's Wales's title challenge over for another year then, barring freak results. For Ireland, the grand slam is still on. That match with England is going to be quite a game.

That's Ireland's tenth win in a row, and they're probably championship favourites at this point. A suffocating performance, at least until the last 20 minutes.

Tough pill to swallow for Wales, who were superb when Ireland allowed them to play. They've got France and Italy still to come, and should feel confident about a respectable finishing position.

That's about it from me after a thrilling 80 minutes of rugby. This fixture never disappoints. Join us (very) shortly for Scotland-England. See you soon!
