UFC 222: Cyborg vs. Kunitskaya

Ottow lands a nice straight left.

Pyle hasn't got going yet. Ottow remaining patient, but pretty accurate early.

I say remaining patient, he got patient after a quick start. Ottow lands a left hand, but almost gets clipped with a counter hook. Just missed.

Ottow with a leg kick and a big knockdown with a right! Ottow on top looking to get the finish. Pyle fights off the first wave, but Ottow continues to rain them down and it's over.

Pyle visibly frustrated, but can't argue with the decision.

Zak Ottow is awarded his black belt. I assume that was the plan regardless, as it's weird to do that on a TKO, but good for him.

Official decision Zak Ottow def. Mike Pyle via TKO (strikes) at 2:34 of Round 1.

Ottow congratulates Mike Pyle on a legendary career. Calls him a pioneer of the sport and the division.

Rogan gets Pyle in to talk. Pyle is struggling to hold back tears.

He says he "fucking loved it" when asked about how much he's enjoyed his time in the UFC. Rogan wraps it up quite quickly as it's clear Pyle is too emotional to give much of a speech. Shame that his career ended with such a skid. Best of luck to him in whatever he does in retirement.
