Time for the second leg of the tie which Man City currently lead 4-0. It’s quite likely just a formality, with City looking comfortable but Basel played very well in patches in the first leg and could possibly cause serious trouble if City fail to perform

FC Basel's team:

Man City's team:

Lots of changes for city, bravo in goal, danilo at right back and a very different midfield. Looks like a good front three though and a second champions league start for Phil Foden which is nice to see. Good game for him to make an impression.

Nearly time for kick off. First a minute’s silence for Davide Astori is observed.

Gabriel Jesus gets the game underway. (1)

I don’t have the highest expectations for this game if I’m totally honest but hopefully something will happen. Slow start but basel are pressing (3)

Bravo gets gundogan away in midfield. City lose the ball but foden is able to bring it down and city regain control. Sané makes one of his runs and Lacroix is beaten but his cross is comfortable for the keeper (5)

City look comfortable on the ball but not especially incisive at this stage. Maybe unsurprising given the lack of walker and de Bruyne. Laporte gives the ball away but touré makes a good challenge after a nice ball from oberlin (7)

GOAL! Jesus!! (7)
