Good evening and welcome to our second helping of Six Nation action today. I'm Mel (@MissMelanie_H) here for France v England from the Stade de France. First things first, I may not be a rugby expert but I know the rules and I enjoy watching it so I should be able to muddle through. Hope you will forgive any technical mistakes from me though.

England lost two weeks ago to Scotland 25-13 but that was only the second loss under Eddie Jones and quite frankly it was deserved win for Scotland. France have had a dreadful Six Nations but did beat Italy last time out 34-17 – not that is hard with all due respect to Italian rugby. They also have a couple of bonus points.

As Ireland won with a bonus point earlier, England will have to win by the same to take the Championship to next weekend. Otherwise Ireland have won the 2018 Six Nations.

The match gets underway in 30 minutes at 4:45 UK time so join me back here soon for the anthems and kick off.

The players are in the tunnel ready to come out for the national anthems. "God Save The Queen" first and the "La Marseillaise".

FRA 0 - 0 ENG Trinh-Duc gets us underway in Paris.

PENALTY! FRA 0 - 3 ENG England have to come from their 22 and decide to kick. Long kick from France but the ball goes into touch and the pass was forward. England have the put in at the scrum. It needs a couple of resets and England get the penalty. Farrell goes for goal and... through the posts it goes!
