The Netherlands

The Windies

Good morning and welcome to our coverage of the World Cup Qualifier match between the Netherlands and the Windies from Harare. The Windies have won their three matches so far and are top of the points table. The Netherlands have only won one match and are 4th. They need to win today and also make up a large net run rate differential.

There are three other matches in the tournament going on today and I will provide updates on the scores from those: Hong Kong v Nepal Ireland v UAE Zimbabwe v Scotland

The weather isn't great and there is a high chance of rain later according to the ICC website - no live pictures as yet for me.

TOSS: The Netherlands win the toss and opt to bowl first.

THE WINDIES: Gayle, Lewis, Hetmyer, Samuels, S Hope, Holder, Powell, Braithwaite, Nurse, Roach, Williams

THE NETHERLANDS: Barresi, Cooper, Edwards, ten Doeschate, Borren, Snater, van der Merwe, Seelaar, van der Gugten, van Meekeren, Kingma

It is drizzling at the moment but we are still expecting to start on time.

The teams line up for the national anthems - the Netherlands first and then the Windies - before Chris Gayle and Evin Lewis come out to face the bowling of Vivian Kingma.

WI 5/0 (1) It's still drizzling but the weather is clearing according to the commentators. The forecast is not great for the rest of the day though. Gayle is off the mark with a single. Lewis drives a ball through to end the over with a four.

WI 16/0 (2) Timm van der Gugten takes the second over. Gayle gets going with a shot over mid-off for his first boundary after running a quick two. Lewis ends the over with his second four.
