1948, 2009.... 2018? Ireland today go for only their third ever Grand Slam. Standing in their way is England, who haven't lost a Six Nations match at Twickenham since 2012 but they have lost their last two games. Rob Sutton here for the St Patrick's Day showdown.

Ireland of course spoiled England's Grand Slam at the Aviva Stadium last year so can England produce a performance that has been missing for the entire of this Championship.

Only five teams have come to Twickenham in the final round of the 5/6 Nations chasing a Grand Slam. France in 1981 were the last to be successful, Scotland in 1995 the last ones to try.

The usual fire show is going off at Twickenham and given the snow that has been about South West London today. Teams are out, here we go!

Time for the anthems, Ireland's Call first.

A good number of Irish have snaffled up tickets for this big game. Now for God Save the Queen

Our referee this afternoon is Angus Gardner from Australia. Brilliant atmosphere for once at Twickenham.

Ireland playing towards the South Stand in this first half, we are off!

1- The returning Dylan Hartley smartly takes a high ball and England play just inside their own half
