New York Yankees

Toronto Blue Jays

Evening all. We're back with the baseball. and it's time for a visit to the AL East as the Yankees play the 2nd game of their series at Toronto.

We're having technical difficulties on BT Sports. They keep giving us the build up to the NY Rangers h9ockey game.

Starting pitchers will be, Aaron Sanchez for the Blue Jays. He missed almost all of last season with blister issues. Hopefully he has overcome those, as pitching is the rotation is thin after the starting 5.

Masahiro Tanaka will be hurling for the Yankees. Other interesting team news sees Josh Donaldson moving to DH for tonight. He was throwing across the bases with a noodle arm last night. Really need him in the lineup given they've now decided Troy Tulowitzki needs surgery on his bone spurs, as he continues to pull the Trump excuse to avoid service in a foreign land

Toronto went the entirety of 2017 without ever being .500 or better. They have a chance tonight to get to that mark after last nights thumping. Last year they went 0-9 in games where they could have evened their record. Being outscored 24 to 72. They didn't just lose those games

BT have finally found the right feed. Brett Gardner quickly down 0-2 in the count

Gets level at 2-2 then drives one back up the middle for a base hit.

Aaron Judge then removes him, hitting into a 1-4-3 double play. 2 out, bases empty for Giancarlo Stanton, a man who I feel will break the Home Run record. The line-up he's in gives him licence and he'll play in a lot of hitter's ball parks this year.

Broken bat as he hits a 1-2 pitch to Smoak, fielding off 1st. Out made easily and it's a solid start for Sanchez
