Evening everyone. The Aviva Premiership enters the final straight. Round 19 of 22 kicks off tonight with Sale v Wasps and I'm Rob Sutton.

This is a key game in a congested race for the playoffs. Sale start the evening 7th but could rise as high as 5th with a win. Wasps are 3rd, looking to bounce back from defeat to Leicester last time out. A win for the visitors would see them jump above Saracens into 2nd.

All this weekend's Premiership matches are the reverse fixtures from the opening weekend of the season. Wasps defeated Sale 50-35 at the Ricoh in September, a repeat of that would be ideal for the neutral! Sale are protecting a proud home record against Wasps though, the Sharks are yet to lose to Wasps since moving to the AJ Bell in 2012.

Despite this being a hugely important match, it is a sparse crowd at the AJ Bell tonight. Apparently there is another match in the Manchester area this weekend...

Late change to the Sale side, Alexandru Tarus replaces Willgriff John in the front row,

Wasps out led by Joe Launchbury and now Jono Ross leads out Sale.

JP Doyle our referee, his 150th Premiership match. Sale in blue, Wasps in white. Away we go.

1- Some early kick tennis, Le Roux finds touch, Sale line-out around halfway.

2- Tarus with a strong carry, Sale building nicely but McGuigan is forced into touch by Bassett.
