RCB from the fairway, chips up nicely and stops it quick, good chance for the bird. Woods from the left gets it high and back down fast, also to a few feet. Both these guys looking in good shape to post a low one today.

2 minutes left of my stint this afternoon. Haotong Li on the 4th is about to knock in a hole-in-one for me, aren't you? He's not that far away, gets a good kick as it lands and rolls nicely into birdie country.

Birdie for RCB at 8, up to +1. Third one for the day, all credit to the glowing hat. Woods with a chance to do the same, and does! 2 under on the par fives for him today, and he's up to +3.

That will be it from me, Howard Crossland. Thanks for following along with me down this lesser travelled road. Next up, a man who knows his magnolias from his azaleas, it's Chris Rolfe.

Cheers Howard, I'll try to carry on the superb coverage but I'm not promising anything, lack of resources means I'm stuck with the featured groups for the first hour before full coverage starts at 7pm

Rafa has hit a corker on 9 but Woods, not to be outdone has hit it miles further, both in birdie chance territory there

Clutch putt from Paul Casey on 4 to save par and stay at -1 for the day, his playing partner Li will be so disappointed he couldn't keep his form going from Thursday but there will be other years for the young Chinese player, he misses a fairly simple birdie putt on 4 and joins Casey in the par club and remains Even for the day

The first of the possible contenders in my opinion will be getting underway at 7:10pm, I dont see anyone at -5 or worse contending with Patrick Reed today and even the -6's and -7's are massive outsiders but anything can happen on Sunday at The Masters

Li with a beaut on 5, Casey cant follow and drifts a little left but the landing was unsighted so we'll wait and see if he hung onto the fairway Rafa's approach on 9 is hanging right and he hates it, dance floor landing but It will trickle down the slope and off the front

Now Tiger is a lot closer than Rafa and has a nice look at the pin, sends it on its way, the line is perfect but the distance isn't, comes up short and spins back down the slope and off the front with Rafa
