We're in Rotterdam for the second night on the spin for another night of action-packed arrows, in the closest Premier League in the history of the tournament! Coming up today: Whitlock vs Smith Gurney vs Anderson Cross vs Wright van Gerwen vs van Barneveld Gurney vs Whitlock

We have five great games where anything goes. We saw Barney turn up the heat last night, and Mighty Mike lose his winning streak. Anderson came perilously close to the magical 9, and was back to his brilliant best. Prepare for an exciting evening.

First up: Whitlock vs Smith. Both were defeated last night. A Whitlock win will see him leapfrog Gurney - at least temporarily.

Both players have walked on, practice darts complete and we're ready to get the action started! On the mic is referee Kirk Bevins. Simon Whitlock vs Michael Smith. Game on.

Smith narrowly misses D6 to break in the first leg, so D14 for Whitlock sees him take the first leg.

And the first 180 of the evening goes to...Michael Smith! Yesterday we saw 27 maximums, including a fantastic effort by Anderson, narrowly missing D12 for the 9 darter.

Missed chances from both players, but it's Smith who hits tops to level things up. 1-1.

Early days and we expect to see a little better, but presently both players are averaging less than 80. And then Smith hits T20 T20 D20 to take out a beautiful 160. That'll help his average and his morale! 2-1 Smith.

180 from Smith leaves him 164. Whitlock not on a check-out so plenty of time for Bully Boy, who leaves himself 36. He goes inside the 18s and the 9s, but a missed dart at tops for The Wizard means he can't break back. D4, first dart in hand for Smith extends his lead! 3-1 Smith.

Whitlock misses tops yet again in a 116 attempt, but Smith doesn't, and now leads 4-1, with the throw in the 6th leg.
