West Brom

West Brom got a league point, and an FA Cup win at Anfield, and come into this game off the back of a win at Old Trafford. They're having a positive season with a good late surge of form. Hang on? You what? They're bottom of the league and utterly crap? Football, eh? Today, the 18/19 Championship runners up will face this season's Champions League runners up, as Liverpool visit the Hawthorns.

A defeat today could mean West Brom's relegation is confirmed tomorrow. Caretaker boss Darren Moore has picked the same side that sealed the title for Man City last week.

Liverpool host Roma on Tuesday and Klopp has decided to give a few people an afternoon on the bench. Gomez, Klavan, Moreno and Ings all get a relatively rare chance to start. Mo Salah starts though, as his golden boot quest continues.

The Hawthorns looks very lovely and sunny. Kick off is just 10 minutes away.

The teams are in the tunnel. Neither are messing about with tracksuit jackets or whatever. It's West Brom in blue and white stripes, Liverpool in red. Out they march onto the pitch and we will be underway in just a couple of moments.

1' Liverpool get the game underway!

2' The West Brom fans are making a terrific noise.

4' Nyom does really well at the back post to flick a deep Milner cross away from Ings.

5' Liverpool take a corner short. Mane and Milner work it well and Mane beats Rodriguez easily. He drills it into the six yard box where Wijnaldum stops the ball dead and Ings happens to be running onto it to slide it home and give Liverpool the lead. It's his first goal in forever and he looks bloody delighted with it.
